Culture Fest is back for 2026 and expect this year to be bigger and better. Expect amazing performances from our societies, delicious food from around the world, and of course, an after-party to top it all off.

An evening of grandeur, celebration, and timeless desi elegance awaits. Beneath the lights and luxury, the final chapter of Mock Shaadi comes alive with royal décor, unforgettable music, endless dancing, and an atmosphere worthy of a palace celebration.

After days of chaos, laughter, and celebration, the Reception Night brings everyone together for one unforgettable evening — dressed in their finest, celebrating like royalty.
So step into your best attire, gather your people, and join us for a reception worthy of the royal treatment.

When: Friday 19th June 2026

Time: 9pm - 2am

Cost: £3 Desi Society members (only available until Wednesday 17th June 6pm)

£5 non members (available until 6pm on the day / subject to availability)

There will be no tickets sold on the door for this event

Entry: 9pm - 11:30pm (there is no re-entry and doors will close at 11:30pm sharp)

You must bring your student ID or a government issued ID for entry.

No refunds will be given and tickets are non-transferable (which means you cannot buy a ticket for someone else unless you are entering with them).

The event everyone’s been saving the date for is finally here — MOCK SHAADI.

Expect giant wedding celebrations filled with music, chaos, dance, traditions, performances, and memories you’ll be talking about long after it’s over.

And we’re starting it the only way we know how — with the loudest, craziest, most energetic night of them all:
SANGEET KI RAAT

Expect insane performances, nonstop music, mehendi, games, catered snacks, and the kind of atmosphere that feels straight out of a Bollywood wedding.

So put on your best desi fit, bring your people, and get ready for a night that sets the tone for what we are about to bring you ;)

Sports and Societies Awards 2026

On Friday 28th August 2026 we invite you to celebrate the achievements and successes of our Clubs and Societies at our annual awards evening. Being held at the Leonardo Hotel in Milton Keynes we will host a welcome drinks reception followed by a 3 course meal throughout the awards evening. Following the awards and meal there will be a DJ where you can party long into the night.

Order of the evening:

6pm - Doors open and welcome drinks

6:45pm - Doors close and seats to be taken

7pm - Awards ceremony and meal

10pm - After-party begins

1am - Event close
