Sexual Health Services

Here are the services that our partner Terrence Higgins Trust, a National Sexual Health Charity, can offer you. Within Buckingham, they work in conjunction with bSHaW to provide sexual health clinics and drop ins.

New service: Just ask bSHaW. This can be accessed from the bucks sexual health website www.sexualhealthbucks.nhs.uk. The service gives under 25s access to the C Card Scheme enabling you to obtain free condoms as well as sexual health advice. You leave them a private message on the website and they call them back between: 2pm and 4pm, Monday to Thursday. Condoms are then sent out in the post.

Appointments: You may be used to accessing sexual health appointments with the Swan Doctors Surgery, High Street MK18 1NU, at north end within the hospital entrance in Buckingham town centre. Students can still make appointments in advance by calling 0300 303 2880. You will receive a telephone consultation in the first instance eiter on Mondays from 2.30 – 5.00pm or Tuesdays from 3.00 – 6.00pm.

Sexual Health Clinics: They also have other sexual health clinics open across the county that can be accessed through the 0300 303 2880 number. Again these are telephone consultations in the first instance, which means you don’t need to be geographically near the clinic itself, but can get the same help and support across more days of the week.

These clinics include:

Tuesday

8.30am – 11.00am Lynton House, 43 London Road High Wycombe HP11 1BP

3.00pm – 6.00pm Burnham Health Centre, Minniecroft Road, Burnham SL1 5DG

Wednesday 6.00pm – 9.00pm Chalfont and Gerrard’s Cross Hospital, Hampden Road, Chalfont SL9 9DR
Thursday 2.00pm – 5.00pm Water Meadow Surgery, 31A Red Lion Street, Chesham HP5 1HQ.
