Log into our careers portal, Horizons, and use the Job Search Engine here to find local and national vacancies, including graduate schemes, part-time work and volunteering.

The first time you use the Job Search Engine you will be asked to set up preferences for jobs that most interest you. Whenever you re-visit the web page, you can switch the preference off in order to view featured jobs on Horizons and do organic search.

Recruitment agencies

When using a recruitment agency, typically you should not be asked to pay for the services of a recruiter as they generate income based on their work with their clients – the employers. More information about working with a recruitment agency consultant here.

Professional bodies

An excellent source of information about specific professional areas are professional bodies, such as British Psychological Society (BPS) or The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). Simply search for them online.
