About Me
Hi! I’m Megan, a mature student studying Business Management with Entrepreneurship. I’m English and bring a hands-on, energetic approach to uni life, whether I’m working at the OTM Student Bar or helping lead the Women’s Rugby Team as an Exec. I’m passionate about travel and one day I plan to visit all 50 states across the U.S. I also love music, whether it’s discovering new artists, attending live gigs, or just enjoying a good playlist while working or relaxing. Fun fact: I can down a pint in one go, a skill that definitely gets a few cheers at the bar! If you see me around campus, come say "hi", I’m always up for a chat or a challenge.
My Role as Mature Students Network Lead
The Mature Students Network Lead is responsible for advocating for the unique needs and concerns of mature students and student-parents or carers within the university community and nationally. I represent the interests and challenges faced by mature students, student-parents, and carers. I also lead open network meetings that help to gather the collective view of network members on what issues exist that concern the network, and what actions can take place. I equally Collaborate with university departments to ensure that policies and support services are inclusive of mature students and carers.
