About Me
Hi! I’m Annabel, your 2025 Students’ Union President. I’m Nigerian and have lived there all my life until now. I studied law for both my undergraduate and master’s degrees at the University. I’m passionate about music, and I enjoy all genres. I also play the violin and some piano. I’m also active in sports and play badminton and football here. It’s my dream to travel extensively, especially through the Caribbean Islands and Sub-Saharan Africa. I love meeting new people, so feel free to say hi if you see me around campus —I’d love to chat!
My Role as President
Together with the Vice Presidents, the President ensures that students are represented at every level within the University, locally and nationally, and oversees the effective day to day running of the Students' Union. The President’s unique responsibilities include leading the strategic processes of the organization, and attending and representing you at ‘University Council’, our universities highest governing body.
