Back home, I campaigned and spoke in front of the Colorado House of Representatives in support of HB17-1302. This bill prohibits juveniles from distributing sexually explicit content of another minor. Previously, the consequences were solely on the person who made the content. The bill was passed and has been protecting young people in the state for nearly seven years.

Throughout my life, I have worked tirelessly to ensure that every person is treated fairly and respectfully, regardless of who they are. I am committed to continuing this mission as Women's Network Lead.

If elected, I will collaborate with the SU and the University to implement several key policies:

  1. Zero-Tolerance Policy on Discrimination and Harassment: Enforce strict policies to ensure discrimination and harassment are not tolerated on campus.

  2. Gender-Diverse Security Staff: Advocate for a more gender-diverse security presence at SU events to ensure safety and inclusivity for all attendees.

  3. Monthly "Girl's Night In" Events: Establish regular monthly events to create a supportive and social environment for women on campus.

  4. Feminine Products in Restrooms: Ensure that feminine hygiene products are readily available in every women’s restroom on campus.

  5. Philanthropic Engagement: Increase involvement in philanthropic events and charities that uplift and support women in our community.

Together, we can create a more inclusive, respectful, and supportive environment for everyone. Thank you for considering me for the role of Women's Network Lead.
