Mindfulness for Focus

Mindfulness for Focus Ashley Berry from the Medical School and Sarah Myhill, Dyslexia Specialist Tutor, are going to run an 8 week course of mindfulness sessions online, directed at improving focus and concentration around academic study. The first session will be online live at 17:30 (5.30pm) until 18:00 (6pm) on Wednesday 26th April. The sessions will be recorded and available to those that sign up for the course.

❖ The way we live now in an Instagram/TikTok society, with technology at our fingertips and instant gratification is eroding our attention

❖ We are apparently walking and talking faster than people did in the 50s and getting an hour less sleep which all impacts on concentration
