Women’s Health Society & Friends of MSF have joined forces to bring you a talk with Professor Andrew Shennan, OBE!
The talk will include a discussion on hot topics in obstetrics and Professor Shennan’s work in Sierra Leone.
Professor Shennan is a Professor of Obstetrics at King’s College London and is Clinical Director of the South London Clinical Research Network. He leads an NIHR Global Health Research Group, is Chair of the FIGO Preterm Birth Committee, and is the current Chair of Action for the charity Pre-eclampsia UK.
His research interests include antenatal and intrapartum care. He also has an active clinical role in managing high risk obstetric patients, including through a specialist award-winning preterm birth surveillance clinic.
