Who are we:
Welcome to the University of Buckingham Business Society!
This society was built to help students and provide tools that may better your future.
What We Do:
We are a society all about networking and building connections!
We want students to build their contacts with as many working professionals as possible, creating relationships that will be either useful now if you are either looking for part-time work/ experience, or for the future when you finish your degree. No matter what you are looking for, we are here to help you get started.
To clear up a common misconception, this society is not simply limited to business students, anyone taking any degree is welcome to join as we strive to incorporate as many different contacts in as many different industries as possible.
What You Can Expect From Us:
We plan to hold many different types of events:
Fun trips to different cities – these will entail travelling to companies in different parts of the country to tour businesses where you can gain an understanding of what working for those businesses would look like.
Guest speakers – we will get speakers from different backgrounds into the university, giving students a chance to hear their stories and have Q&A sessions with them after.
Social events – networking within the university is also important, these events will be relaxed, where you will be able to speak to other students, whilst making good memories that will hopefully last a long time.
Follow us on Instagram @uob.businesssociety where we will post updates and our upcoming events.
Come along, get involved, and make the most of your time at university! We are here to help you make connections whilst having a fun time doing so, so we look forward to seeing you there!
