Welcome to the University of Buckingham Music Society! 🎵
Music Society is for anyone who loves music, whether you sing, play an instrument, DJ, produce, want to join/form a band, or simply want to get involved and try something new.
We run the University’s Music Room, giving members access to instruments and a space to practise, rehearse, collaborate and meet other musicians. Throughout the year, we plan to host jam and sing sessions, instrument tasters, band opportunities, performances, DJ sessions, collaborations with other societies, open-mic style events and larger music nights.
You don’t need to be an experienced musician to join. Beginners are just as welcome as experienced performers, and we want the society to be a place where people can learn, experiment and find others who share their taste in music, from pop, hip-hop and R&B to rock, indie, cultural music, classical, jazz, electronic music and more.
Whether you want to perform, form a band, learn an instrument, meet other musicians or simply be part of a music-loving community, there’s a place for you here.
