An update from your Rugby Club President
This term at the UOB Bears we have seen a long overdue return to training which takes place on Wednesdays 1500-1700 at Ford Meadow. It has been great to see some of the lads back and being able to blow off the cobwebs, which has been a big positive in being able to integrate some of our new lads into the team. We have also linked up with Buckingham Rugby Club and a group of us have attended their touch sessions to help us get some of that much needed fitness back!!
We are now able to start brainstorming some ideas and create plans for what we want to do in the summer! At the minute we are looking at potential games and 7s festivals we can play this summer against local sides. Closer to the uni we’re looking at planning a fun touch festival in the summer open to all students and hopefully an OTM social when restrictions allow!!
