Bucks Tornadoes were crowned winners of the Play Netball Milton Keynes Summer 2022 League after an impressive season where they won 11 out of the 12 matches. The club have really developed over the past 12 months and have been rewarded for their hard work and commitment.
Maggie, Netball Club President; " Another season is over and what a successful one it’s been! We’ve had a phenomenal season but we’ve also had a few anxious moments. The whole team has improved so much since January and we’ve continued to encourage each other along the way. One of the great things about this sport is that there’s always room for improvement, we can all work on doing something just a little better. When everyone does that, the results can be amazing – and if there’s one thing I know about each and every one of you, it’s that there isn’t anyone who wouldn’t give her all for the team. There’s an old saying that “it matters not if you win or lose, but how you play the game” – and it’s an honour and a privilege to be associated with a group of ladies who play the game so well. I couldn’t possibly end without saying thank you to our coach Sarah - We really do appreciate all that you do for us."
