Chancellors Cup was back for 2026 held on Tuesday 18th and Wednesday 19th August.
Day 1 was our team sports with Tag Rugby and Rounders being played and all matches were very close with only 30 points separating the teams at the end of day 1. We returned for day 2 and it was time for the crowd favourites of races and Tug of War. The races provided the drama with photo finishes as well as some clear wins and the Tug of War was as entertaining as always.
A huge thank you to the BSU executive team of Saniya, Olly, Anaissa and Mallika who led, scored and timed all events whilst our Team Captains of Naomi, Shane, Matilda, Krishi, Gen, Hamza, Eli and Ben recruited and organised their teams brilliantly - a true team effort really showcasing the student experience.
This was a record breaking year with one of the best turnouts as well as a well deserved and first win for the Faculty of Computing, Law and Psychology!!
Results
1st place - Faculty of Computing, Law and Psychology - 600 points
2nd place - Faculty of Business, Humanities and Social Sciences - 500 points
3rd place - Medicine 26 - 320 points
4th place - Medicine 25 - 310 points
