Over the weekend of 4th and 5th May. Chloe Tang a 4th year medical student represented our university at the BUCS Outdoor Athletics Championships which were held in Manchester. Read more about her experience below:
I had the honour of representing the university at the British Universities and College Sports Outdoor Athletics Championship. It was a thrilling and unique opportunity to compete at such a big event and proudly represent my university. Racing against some of the best athletes from across the UK was incredibly enlightening. The atmosphere at the arena was incredible, with teammates passionately cheering and supporting one another throughout the events. While I didn't secure a podium finish, I am proud to have given my all. Achieving a personal best in the 100m race was a highlight for me. It was an unforgettable and exhilarating experience. I am incredibly thankful for this opportunity and would eagerly seize it again in the future.
