Splatterfest - 08/04/2022
Crewe Medical Society’s first charity event consisted of water balloons, wet sponges and jelly blocks! April is Bowel Cancer Awareness month, so Crewe Medical Society executive Dharan and Crewe Campus SU coordinator Andy volunteered as tributes (targets!) to raise much needed funds for Bowel Cancer UK. The charity assist patients affected by the disease and funds vital research into the treatment for bowel cancer!
Through the generous donations and stress busting high-speed throws of 15 attendees, Crewe Medical Society has been able to raise over £100 for Bowel Cancer UK – thanks to the massive effort from the volunteers as well as the impressive throws from the attendees. The hilarity that ensued from this event made it all the more worthwhile. Stay tuned for our next event, Meet the Specialties Guest Speaker night, where doctors from GP, endocrine surgery and colorectal surgery specialties discuss their amazing work and experience in their field on May 17th.
