Freshers 2022 was a jam packed fortnight with activities taking place across our Buckingham and Crewe campuses from 22nd September - 8th October 2022. There were Welcome meals, Freshers Fairs, Theme Park trips, Bubble football, Karaoke, UV parties and much more.

Henry Hunt, SU Vice President and Activities Officer: "The Freshers events of September 2022 have come to a close in Buckingham. We have seen an amazing level of attendance as well as feedback throughout our activities. Normally, I am only involved in the activity side of things but this year I was even given the opportunity to talk about the Students' Union in the Student Support Services Inductions. My personal highlight was at the Intergalatic Party where we had so many students getting involved and having fun painting each other. I was especially happy to dress up in my most neon outfit and share a couple of drinks with students. "
Andy Young, Student Activities Coordinator Crewe Campus: "The biggest and best freshers by far that has ever happened at the Crewe campus. With 90 new students and over 200 students on site, the campus was a buzz with activity. Record breaking attendances on external trips, day events and evening events made the week even more special. A couple of highlights for us up in Crewe was our Bar Team Leader Connor Beadle's 'Mocktail Masterclass' which brought students from all backgrounds together to learn the art of mocktail making. Secondly, our Freshers' Fair, with 30 stalls and over 120 attendees the ICB was an amazing site to see. Thank you to all the students who made this Freshers the best one so far and a special shout out to all of the Crewe campus for making our Freshers' feel so welcome and at home straight away. We go again in January for another set of records to be broken!!"
