Health and Wellness Society update

This August, the Health and Wellness Society planned a variety of exercises for its members. During
our weekly Wednesday sessions, the members participated in touch rugby, yoga and a HIIT session.
On the 14th of August, the society organized a collaboration with the women’s rugby team and played a
game of touch rugby. Our members found this enjoyable as they were exposed to a different form of
exercise and got to meet new people.

On the 21st of August, we had a yoga session with Nina which was very relaxing and fun. On the 28th,
we organized and ran our own HIIT session and incorporated a range of exercises like star jumps,
plank, russian twist and weighted bicep curls. This month was a success in our books as our members
were introduced to different activities and we were able to connect them to other students of the
university.
As for September, we have planned yoga sessions every wednesday and are looking forward to
freshers fair where we hope to take onboard new members! We are so excited to meet you all and
hope to plan some exciting collaborations!
