From 8–10pm last night, the Refectory in the OTM was filled with energy as On/Call opened Band Night with a 30-minute set that set the tone for the evening. Performing to around 80 students, it was incredible to see both long-time supporters and new faces come together to celebrate live music on campus. The atmosphere in the room was electric from the very first song. A huge thank you to the Student Union for the fantastic stage setup, lighting and PA system. It truly elevated the night and allowed all the performers to put on their best show!
We were also joined by Sweet Unrest and Radiator, who brought their own distinct energy to the stage.
Sweet Unrest shared:
“Well we’ve never performed to a tree before, so that was new! We hope the students enjoyed the night. It was a great venue and the uni really took care of us.”
Radiator reflected:
“It’s always great to get out of London and play to new people, and the students seemed to really enjoy the night. It was a great turnout and it’s definitely a show we won’t forget.”
It was brilliant to collaborate with external artists and create a proper live music night on campus.
A particularly special moment in our set was introducing our first original single, “too in love.” The response from the crowd was genuinely heartwarming. We’ve worked incredibly hard on this track, and hearing such positive feedback meant so much to us. We’re now hoping to have it professionally produced and released on streaming platforms, so keep an eye out.

On/Call is made up of:

As medical students, stepping onto a stage in front of a packed room isn’t something we ever expected to experience during our degree. We’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to balance our studies with creativity and performance.
With exams approaching, we’ll be taking a short break, but stay tuned for upcoming shows in the spring and summer. There may even be some On/Call merch on the way.
Thank you to everyone who came out and supported live music on campus. This is only the beginning.
